Frequently asked questions
What advantages does WooCommerce offer with Print-on-Demand?
WooCommerce is one of the most successful professional e-commerce systems worldwide. Its popularity is partly due to the fact that its use is free of charge. Furthermore, it offers numerous customization options as well as free and paid plug-ins and themes for personalizing one’s own shop. In addition, the open-source solution includes a global community.

What do I need to consider when setting up WooCommerce with Shirtigo?
Before you connect your WooCommerce shop to Shirtigo, several requirements must be met. On the one hand, your WC shop must have an SSL certificate, and on the other hand, it must run at least on version 3.0 to ensure a smooth process.
Furthermore, under "Permalinks" (under "Settings"), the option "Simple" must not be selected, and under "Product Images", the option "Do not crop" must be activated. Typically, both are already correctly preset in WooCommerce.
You can find details in the Helpcenter.
How do I transfer orders from WooCommerce?
As soon as orders receive the status "in progress", they are generally transferred automatically. All orders with the payment method PayPal or credit card receive this status. With the payment method prepayment, they receive the status "on hold" and must be manually set to "in progress" after payment has been received.
If the status changes to "Shipped", this will also be transferred automatically to your WooCommerce shop.
Are there problematic WooCommerce plugins?
Since WooCommerce is an open-source solution, there is no central verification authority that checks each plugin for potential complications. Therefore, it can occur in a few cases that some plugins interfere with the transfer of products and orders. Problematic plugins that we are aware of are "W3 Total Cache" (usually solvable by temporarily deactivating) and "WP Rocket".
