Kann ich den MCP-Server nur mit Claude und ChatGPT nutzen?

Nein. MCP ist ein offener Standard und kein Produkt eines einzelnen Anbieters. Anbinden lässt sich jeder Client und jeder Agent, der MCP unterstützt. Neben Claude und ChatGPT zählen dazu zum Beispiel Perplexity, Mistral Le Chat oder ein selbst gebauter Agent. Wir nennen Claude und ChatGPT auf dieser Seite nur deshalb, weil sie am weitesten verbreitet sind.

Brauche ich ein kostenpflichtiges Abo bei Claude oder ChatGPT?

Das hängt von deinem KI-Client ab, nicht von Shirtigo. Bei Claude funktionieren Custom Connectors bereits im kostenlosen Plan, dort allerdings nur einer gleichzeitig. Pro, Max, Team und Enterprise erlauben mehrere. Bei ChatGPT brauchst du einen Business-, Enterprise- oder Edu-Plan: Eigene MCP-Verbindungen laufen dort über den Entwicklermodus, den nur Workspace-Admins freischalten können. In Plus und Pro ist er laut OpenAI nicht enthalten. Der Shirtigo MCP-Server selbst kostet dich nichts zusätzlich, er gehört zu deinem Shirtigo-Account.

Wie aufwendig ist die Einrichtung?

In wenigen Minuten und ohne Programmierkenntnisse. Du legst in deinem KI-Client einen Custom Connector an und trägst die Server-URL ein. Danach meldest du dich einmalig bei Shirtigo an und bestätigst den Zugriff. Ab da kannst du deinem Assistenten in normaler Sprache sagen, was zu tun ist.

Welche Daten sieht die KI?

Der Server arbeitet ausschließlich auf deinem eigenen Shirtigo-Account: Bestellungen, Kollektionen, Produktkatalog und Kontostand. Jeder Aufruf läuft über deine Authentifizierung. Die KI sieht nichts, worauf du nicht ohnehin selbst Zugriff hast, und keine Daten anderer Accounts.

Kann die KI auch Bestellungen auslösen?

Ja. Der Server kann verbindliche Bestellungen anlegen, allerdings nie unbemerkt: Vorher wird der komplette Auftrag durchgerechnet, und die Bestellung entsteht erst, wenn du den Gesamtpreis bestätigst. Reine Auskünfte wie Lieferstatus, Preisberechnungen oder Klärfall-Übersichten verändern nichts an deinen Daten.

Can I use the MCP server only with Claude and ChatGPT?

No. MCP is an open standard and not a product of a single provider. Any client and any agent that supports MCP can be connected. In addition to Claude and ChatGPT, this includes, for example, Perplexity, Mistral Le Chat, or a self-built agent. We only mention Claude and ChatGPT on this page because they are the most widely used.

Do I need a paid subscription for Claude or ChatGPT?

That depends on your AI client, not on Shirtigo. With Claude, custom connectors already work in the free plan, but only one at a time. Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise allow multiple. With ChatGPT, a paid plan is required. The Shirtigo MCP server itself does not cost you anything extra; it belongs to your Shirtigo account.

How complicated is the setup?

In just a few minutes and without programming knowledge. You create a custom connector in your AI client and enter the server URL. After that, you register once with Shirtigo and confirm the access. From then on, you can tell your assistant in normal language what to do.

What data does the AI see?

The server works exclusively on your own Shirtigo account: orders, collections, product catalog, and account balance. Each request goes through your authentication. The AI sees nothing that you do not already have access to, and no data from other accounts.

Can the AI also place orders?

Yes. The server can create binding orders, but never unnoticed: The entire order is calculated beforehand, and the order only comes into existence when you confirm the total price. Pure information such as delivery status, price calculations, or clarification overviews do not change your data.
